How it's made

Shoulder
Set-in, natural shoulder, 0.5 cm drop — 4-thread overlock, lining bagged out
Neck
Two-ply camp collar, fused outer ply, no stand · rib height: 7 cm · topstitch: Edge-stitch 0.2 cm plus 0.6 cm topstitch around the collar edge
Closure
Five 15 mm ring-prong snaps on a 3.4 cm self-fabric placket, evenly spaced · hardware: Matte antique or tonal painted; ask for a pull test on the sample
Sleeve hem
3 cm turned casing with 2 cm woven elastic, no cuff tab
Body hem
3 cm turned casing with 2 cm woven elastic through the back half only. Straight; front hem sits flat so the placket does not pucker
Pockets
Two slash hand pockets set in the side-front seam, 16 cm openings, bagged in lining
Lining
Full body and sleeve lining, bagged out through a 20 cm gap in the hem casing
Side seams
4-thread overlock, shell and lining sewn separately
Stitch density spi
11 stitches per inch

Trims & notes

• 15 mm ring-prong snaps x5
• 2 cm woven elastic (cuffs and back hem, ~120 cm)
• Fusible (collar outer, placket)
• Taffeta lining
• Woven main label (back neck)
• Care/content label
• Snap placement is the fit risk on a cropped body. Set the top snap 3 cm below the collar seam; any higher and the collar will not sit open.
• Do not let the factory substitute poppers for ring-prong snaps. Poppers pull through 160 GSM nylon within a season; ring-prongs need a reinforcement patch, which should be specified as a 2.5 cm fused square behind each.
• Elastic through the back hem only. A full elasticated hem on a cropped jacket rides up and the front placket bows outward.
• Taslan shows needle holes permanently. Ask for a fresh needle at the start of the run and no unpicking on the shell.
• This is a wind layer. Do not put a waterproof claim on it without a taped-seam sample and a hydrostatic-head test result.
