Trims & notes

• Round drawcord 0.5 cm, ~140 cm (hood)
• Metal eyelets x2 (hood facing)
• Cord ends x2
• 1.2 cm twill neck tape (~60 cm)
• Woven label (inside back neck)
• Care label (side seam, 10 cm above hem)
• Specify the compacting, not just the GSM. 420 GSM loopback that has not been compacted shrinks 6-8% in length; the factory will quote it either way and only one of those garments fits after a wash.
• Line the hood in self fabric, not jersey. A jersey-lined hood in 420 GSM collapses flat at the back of the neck and is the single most common complaint on heavyweight hoodies.
• Bar-tack all four corners of the pocket openings. Hands in pockets is the load case that destroys this garment, and an unsecured corner tears the body panel, not the pocket.
• The drawcord eyelets must go through both hood plies with a reinforcement patch behind. Eyelets set through the outer ply only pull out.
• Rib hem relaxed is 54 cm against a 60 cm chest. That 6 cm difference is the whole silhouette — it is not a tolerance, and a factory that cuts the rib to the chest width produces a straight tube.
